This is by FAR the best ice cream scoop I've EVER used. It's made of sturdy stainless steel with a comfortable grip and it has some weight behind it that I think helps scooping. My favorite part of this scooper is the spade-like scoop, it literally glides through the hardest ice cream like it's butter! I have poked a few holes in the sides of ice cream cartons because of that feature but that's a small price to pay to have a struggle-free scoop of ice cream
