This scoop is perfect. It comes in a very nice box, and the scoop itself is pretty heavy and substantial. It handles just-out-of-the-freezer ice cream with no problem. I love that it is dishwasher safe, too. This would be great as a gift, too.

We love this ice cream scoop so much that we have purchased a second one for our RV so we will always have one when we are traveling or camping. Its well made, sturdy and you won't regret purchasing one or two.
I like this ice cream scoop so far. I have only used it a few times but it seems to be very well made. I like to keep my ice cream frozen solid, that makes it harder to get out. I have bent a few spoons and broken ice cream scoops in the past but this scoop feels very sturdy and I think it will be around for a long time. It also makes the ice cream a lot easier to get out of the containers, with the angled and slightly pointed end it glides through the hard ice cream.
