This is a good scoop. it is weighted well and digs into the icecream well and scoops very well. The icecream doesn't stick to the scoop. so, it falls off the scoop to the bowl easily. I would recommend this.
Note: If you go too far down on the packaging, you could damage it (esp. if it's paper/cardboard based icecream container).

Never in my life did I think I would rate an ice cream scoop but that day has come. Best ice cream scoop ever!

This scoop will only scoop soft icecream, Tried scooping the hard ben and Jerry's icecream, the scoop failed miserably! Otherwise it is a solid piece of kit.

This scoop is perfect. It comes in a very nice box, and the scoop itself is pretty heavy and substantial. It handles just-out-of-the-freezer ice cream with no problem. I love that it is dishwasher safe, too. This would be great as a gift, too.
