I’m super picky with everything I buy and when I received this I was surprised at how heavy it was which was really nice. I do not even have to let the ice cream thaw, this scooper cuts right through solid ice cream. I would definitely buy again. I wish there was red, but I do love the green.

This is the only scoop my Hulk of a husband hasn't been able to snap in half. It's heavy for a scoop, but I think that is because it's a solid metal piece. It "cuts" the ice cream well, and makes it easier on my arthritic hands. I wish we had found this one sooner. This is the second one we purchased- was a gift we included in an ice cream basket.

Received this as a joke for Father's Day and I immediately brought it home and tried it out. I am a bit of a crazy over ice cream scoops. I have been on an endless quest to buy the next best ice cream scoops. I currently owned two different OXO brand scoops which I felt until now were the best on the market. Well there now is a new king in my household. Well balanced and slid right through my favorite ice cream!! I like the heftiness of the Sumo product. You can tell it's very well made. Probably going to last a very long time.
