I’ve been looking for a new scoop for some time now. I knew what I wanted and continued to shop until I found the SUMO Ice Cream Scoop. When it arrived I was quite pleased at the weight and the comfort of my new scoop. Feels really good in my hand, and with the pointed end it should work great. Full length Stainless Steel shaft wrapped in cushioned grip beats anything I’ve seen or used to date. What a great product that’s well designed and you get it all at a fantastic price.

This feels good in your hand. It has some weight to it. Great it can also be washed in the dishwasher.

When I picked up the package containing my Sumo ice cream scoop from my front porch, I initially thought it was gold bullion my rich uncle Pennybags. The box was that heavy. Then I remembered I don't have a rich uncle Pennybags. A quality ice cream scoop is no small consolation, however. This thing is a solid chunk of high quality stainless steel machined into a scoop with a flamboyantly colored silicon handle. It's going to survive the next asteroid impact...hard ice cream (as ice cream should be) is like warm butter to the Sumo. I love it.

This is my second Sumo scoop. I got a purple one a couple years ago and love it. I need two scoops because teens don’t clean it after they use it and as always once one gets ice cream and puts scoop in sink, someone else then goes to get ice cream and the scoop is gross. My backup scoop started leaving a black residue on the ice cream!!
