Finally a scoop strong enough to dig in to the thick ice cream. It curls it into a ball as you scoop. The sides are low so you can pop it right into the bowl without having to use your finger. Perfect scoop! Anything else is settling.

Very sturdy and solid. Will not bend while digging through frozen ice cream. Solid stainless steel scoop which is super important because I was replacing the one I had from Kitchenaid that started to strip because it wasn’t stainless steel. Comfortable handle. Love the fun color which is so appropriate for an ice cream mood. Very pleased.

My old ice cream scoop finally needed to be replaced the chrome plating was beginning to flake away. This is why I chose a product that was stainless steel not using a coating or plated finish to give it a better appearance. If you are looking for something lightweight, this is not it. It is solid, substantial, and for me, the weight is a plus when using it to scoop through frozen ice cream.
