I've been using an old clunky, dull very-hard-to-use Ice cream scoop. I was having a tough time convincing myself to try 'yet another drawer clogging gadget' but when I started having REAL problems scooping ice cream , I realize I needed to rethink this process. Man, am I glad I did. This works so well and makes scooping so easy I laugh out loud in amazement every time I use it. Oh, and by the way other 'drawer-clogging' gadgets that I wouldn't be without (I like to cook) is my apple slicer, and my 3-way Select-a-Peel peeler. (Yes the soft peel setting actually works.)

It works as expected. But I put it in the dishwasher and the rubber handle separated a bit and it filled with water. So now I have to remember to load it in the dishwasher scoop down so it won't fill up.

Work fine. Better to heat it a little bit before using.
