This ice cream scoop is awesome! If you've ever tried to scoop coconut milk ice cream straight from the freezer you know it is nearly impossible to do with a regular kitchen spoon; it needs to sit for a few minutes before even trying to attempt it. In the past I have something resorted to using a fork to get it out of the container. I figured I would give this ice cream scoop a shot so I don't end up bending anymore spoons...
I put the SUMO ice cream scoop to the ultimate test: scooping coconut milk ice cream straight from the freezer (container was in the back and a solid rock). The result? Passed with flying colors! It glided through the ice cream so easily I almost couldn't believe it. A definite must have!

Great scooper and not sure if it is dishwasher safe but I put it in there and it is still in great condition!

Great scoop for ice cream. It works really well...a lot better than the pampered chef scoop it replaced.
