It's worked remarkably well. I haven't put it in the dishwasher or anything, but it's heavy enough to scoop well, easy to rinse off, and satisfies my needs.

The SUMO ice cream scoop is very well made and durable. The lime green silicone handle is easy to grip, and the stainless scoop is the perfect size and shape to scoop ice cream. The slightly pointed end is really great, especially when its on the harder side from our deep freeze.

We haven't had this ice cream scoop for long, but we love it. It is the nicest, most well constructed ice cream scoop that I have ever come across. An ice cream scoop is one of those items that seems so simple that any one you have should do, but I have been frustrated with the last few that we have purchased. Either they were very hard to scoop w/, or they were uncomfortable to use, or they just seemed like they might break in two when putting the necessary force on them. This one has a great design, it is comfortable, well constructed and works as intended. 10/10 if I had this to do over I would buy it again.
