The best scoop ever. Really scoops hard ice cream. Really does go through the dishwasher beautifully. If you eat a lot of ice cream, you should get one. I bought two more for my sisters.

Really great scoop. The scoop has a tapered edge which gives it almost a blade like sharpness. Don't worry though, not enough to cut fingers or hand! But enough edge to get it going into the ice cream. I make homemade ice cream that I store in a deep freeze to slow down ice crystal formation. Disadvantage to this is that ice cream comes out pretty hard. So glad I bought this so I can get to dessert faster. It came in a very nice box, so alone or with a nice cream maker would make a nice gift. Love that it can go in the dishwasher. I'm willing to hand wash some things but not an ice cream scoop. Small downside is that I didn't get a choice of colors, but not a big deal.
