I bought this based on other positive reviews and am happy to add mine to the long list. This scoop is the bomb. It is not light and chintzy at all...sturdy and very well designed. Even really hard ice-cream balls up effortlessly. LOVE it!

It's just an ice cream scoop, right? Well, that was what I always thought. That is until I bought a decent scoop. I had one good scoop in the past but it was not machine washable and of course I machine washed it and it was ruined. This is machine washable and it scoops well the heft of the material helps it to scoop well.

World's best scoop. We had 4 different scoops (we love icecream), threw them all out! Now we only have 1, the SUMO. Strong construction and well balanced in your hand. Pointed tip and beveled edhe makes scooping even the hardest frozen treats a ball!
