My daughter had it first, or maybe she also saw it at a friend's kitchen. When my wife and I saw it and how it made serving ice cream fun, we decided we just needed one just like it...and the idea spreads throughout the land of the free and home of the brave.

We've only used it a couple of times so far but it has really lived up to all the good reviews! My "lefty" roommate has been the one using it and she's not had any problems, unlike with the disher type with the release mechanism. She said she can see why professionals use it.
