All ice cream scoops should be like this. Easy to hold. Nice point for digging into the ice cream. Seems to be happy in the dishwasher.

This scoop is excellent. Expensive, but worth it if you like me are tired of ruining all manner of other spoons on hard ice cream. The grip on this scoop is wonderful. The shape and sharpness and full grip work together for easy scooping of hard ice cream.

Great scoop!! My main reason for buying this is to get away from my aluminum ones so I can put this one in the dishwasher. As far as the water in the handle goes I will just put it in the dishwasher handle up and problem solved. Grip is good and comfortable.

I returned this item because the handle collects water when the scoop is washed. The water then drips into the ice cream when it is scooped. There is so much water in the handle, you can hear it sloshing around when the scoop is shaken. I had the same problem with the OXO Good Grips Solid Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop.
