I was in search for a new ice cream scoop replacement because my old one broke. I came across SUMO Ice cream Scoop and got great reviews so I decided to try it out and the first time using it I can already tell the difference. It's strong and sturdy. My husband and I love it.

I've only used it once and I like it. Wondered why it was so heavy compared to the old ones I had, and then realized it makes scooping the ice cream out of the container much easier.

The ice cream scoop we've been using is one left to me by my mom, the one she used for us when we were kids. It has a half moon head with a lever that flips the ice cream out, but the metal is so thick and the lever now stuck: it was never great, but as kids we thought it was better than friends whose mom's had a bent spoon to use for scooping. But today I used this Sumo Scooper, and I was completely blown away! Hard as a rock ice cream comes out effortlessly!! I would totally recommend this ice cream scooper: no more carpal tunnel or painful arthritic thumbs just for a bowl of ice cream!!

Incredibly sturdy scoop. I haven't seen anything of this quality and strength in over 30 years. Well worth the price and will last a lifetime in my opinion. I got this to go with the ice cream storage units they make. The point on the end is a much better design than the rounded ones as it helps to get the ice cream started into the scoop.
