I have only had this bad boy for a week and have used it every day!
I didn’t plan on purchasing a new utensil, I just happened upon it and seen the great feedback so I decided to order it to fulfill my “free” shipping quota! And could use a new scoop since ours is pitting and it’s only a year old. It is a Kitchen aide FYI. Yay for us!
Let me start by saying I am a capable strong women that still prefers her husband to scoop the ice cream because it is so hard to get out of the container.....Now (unfortunately) at 50 I can get my own ice cream THANKS a lot SUMO!
Scoop feels counter weighted in your hand, like a really good quality chefs knife if you know what I mean. Heavy and sturdy. The scoop has a semi-pointed thin tip rather than the typical ovalish round scoop. The tip digs easily into very hard ice cream, rolls well for a cone, and seems very good quality. Best scoop I have owned by far! I’m going to buy one for my parents!
