it's pretty clear this is a high quality product. I ordered two so we'd always have a clean one. They have been through the dishwasher without any issues. If you like good, high quality product that isn't going to break, but isn't going to break the bank, this is it.

Beautiful, comfortable, very sturdy, but not as good a performer as I expected for the price. Did not easily pierce hard frozen ice cream.Does not make cone or company worthy round balls, but rather feathery curl slices or wedge chunks-- and I have a pretty good wrist technique. Still looking for a solid round scoop, preferably with the release feature. This scoop too narrow and bowl too shallow. Looks good & will outlast me, so I guess I bought a piece of art--form, not function.

We have both the green and blue handled SUMO ice cream scoops. Love them! We have tried three other types of scoops, all of which either broke with time, did not scoop well, or did not hold up in the dishwasher. These scoops, however, are exactly as advertised. Scooping out ice cream is no longer a chore, and we don't have to remember to set the ice cream carton out a few minutes to thaw prior to serving.
