I have 4 of these scoops and I just bought a 5th so I have one at my FIL’s home. After several days of scooping some delicious Bluebell ice cream with a little spoon, I asked myself why I just don’t buy another for here. This is a perfect scoop. It is a stainless steel scoop with a comfortable handle that is easy to grip and that slightly pointed scoop will cut through even hard ice cream allowing for smooth scoops and not leaving a bunch of peaks and valleys on the ice cream surface that might develop water crystals. I chuck mine in the dishwasher after every use and they look brand new with almost daily us. the only negative is you want to be careful when you get towards the bottom of a carton so as to not punch a hole in your carton (especially true for pints). Don’t want your ice cream getting exposure. Do yourself a favor and just buy one (or 2, 3) and you’ll always have a clean scoop. You will not be disappointed!

This is my absolute favorite ice cream scoop ever. It is heavy and the chiseled end helps with ice cream that is hardened. I want to order many more for Christmas presents.

The claim is made this was designed by a NASA Engineer. I'm more than happy to believe. It's one of the top items I've bought for my kitched. It's brilliant. It must have been designed by a rocket man...(but not Elton John)
