Cuts through ice cream like butter. I'm impressed with how well it works, given that it doesn't contain antifreeze. Simple, heavy-duty ice cream scoop that is a breeze to use and clean (in the dishwasher, of course!). I got the blue one and it's a nice cerulean color.

I bought this ice cream scoop mostly because of the lifetime guarantee but didn't really expect it to be much different than any other ice cream scoop you can buy anywhere else. Boy, was I wrong! The SUMO scoop cuts hard ice cream like a hot knife in butter without having to dip it in water first. What a relief! The scoop has a nice heavy solid feel to it, too, that I love. Sometimes you can just tell when you're never going to have to replace something again and this is one of those times. I am so used to accepting all the junk that merchandisers put out these days that I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I'm actually excited over this ice cream scoop. But there you have it. I am.
