Its a bit large and heavy for my arthritic hand. My husband enjoys using it though. ITs made to last a lifetime!

I couldn't be happier. I used to have my Grammy's large aluminum scooper and a smaller alum baller but they sure didn't cut right thru the super frozen ice cream we like here.
