I love weighted feel of this scoop in my hand and the way it cuts through hard-frozen ice cream. If I put it under hot water, the transferred heat helps it glide through the hardest ice cream. The rubberized handle ensures I can keep a firm grip while scooping. I like that it's stainless steel and cleans easily without corrosion. I had another favorite scoop that corroded when washed in the dishwasher. This Sumo scoop holds up well...like a Sumo wrestler. Highly recommended!

Smart design, much easier to scoop and fill a small glass of the coldest, hardest ice cream, or go for it and fill a bowl. Solid weight, grip and metal feels like lasting quality, should last for a long while. Cleans up easily, so only hand washed so far. Disclaimer: ice cream milkshakes are my favorite dessert and you can't help but stomp like a Sumo wrestler when you grab the scoop.

So far so good! We go through ice cream scoops like crazy. The servers like it because it will get into the corners of the carton and scoops the ice cream pretty easily. I like it because its solid and hopefully I won't have to replace it any time soon!
