Comfortable, makes nice ice cream ball shape, works well on really hard ice cream... but... the silicone handle starts to wear away when left in a hot dipper well unlike a handle made or coated with something else. Used this in a restaurant setting... recommend for home use only.

I ordered the sumo scoop as a gift after reading all the favorable reviews. I ordered one for myself also. I'm so glad I did! It lives up to the hype. No more bent spoons or microwaving ice cream for 10 seconds. I love it!
