Personally, I thought this ice cream scoop was a little expensive but I am not disappointed! It works like a charm, especially when I am too lazy to thaw out my ice cream beforehand. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is quite heavy in weight, but I guess that is why it works so well.

Feels great, very sturdy, and gets the job done. Makes that super hard ice cream a lot easier to get. I ended up buying two.

If you run it under hot water first, this scoop cuts right through hard ice cream! It's sturdy, heavier than expected, after buying cheap scoops that fall apart after a year. I expect this one will last considerably longer. The only possible negative is the handle is fairly big for my XS hand, but it's still comfortable.
