This thing is awesome. Only drawback is that it'll punch through the carton if you aren't careful. I scraped up the bottom of a blue bell carton first time I used it. Other than that, best scoop I've ever owned easy.

This ice cream scoop is fantastic! It lives up to the hype; I really can scoop very hard ice cream, right out of the freezer, with no problems! It’s magical.

This is a nice solid ice cream scoop that is not going to break scooping hard ice cream. Is the ice cream going to stick to the scoop ... probably but I have never had a scoop where the ice cream did not stick and I am more concerned with whether I am going to put my ice cream scoop in the trash or the dishwasher so this passes the first set of test. I am not giving it 5 stars because I am waiting to see how the silicone handle holds up over time.
