I have to admit, when I read that it cuts through ice cream nicely even when frozen hard, I was doubtful. I've had very bad luck with ice cream scoops, and though I've not tried this one myself my husband, who has also gotten frustrated with hard ice cream, says it's wonderful! This is the guy who would get so irritated that he'd beg me to scoop the ice cream for him, but not anymore. I take that as proof.

Really like this scoop. Goes thru really hard ice cream easily. Comfortable grip. Really easy to use.
