I bought a cheap ice cream scoop from target because I needed one, and once it went into firm ice scream the scoop bent back like a twig. I ordered this SUMO Ice Cream Scoop because it looks sturdy and had great reviews, and boy were they right!
This thing has not failed me once, and I have put it through some rigorous testing, including the thick, heavy cream ice cream I had WAY back near the freezing component in my freezer. Super durable, easily goes through the dishwasher and super comfortable to use, it scoops even the hardest of ice creams with ease.

This scoop cuts through the hardest ice cream with ease and, leaves on residue on my ice cream like the old aluminum ones do. And, it doesn't bend all out of shape like a spoon does!
