It is just a regular scoop.

It does not cut the hard ice cream as I thought it should.

Solid stainless!

This is a perfect ice cream scoop! Solid stainless is great for hard ice cream! I got 2 scoops with BRIGHT green & purple colored handles so my husband can spot them easily in the utensil drawer.
