Life in Amazon land: The other night I was annoyed while using an ice cream scoop I have had and haven't liked for probably 20 years. All of a sudden I realized we didn't have to live this way so went to Amazon, searched ice cream scoops by rating, thought this was a great balance of reviews and price (I was annoyed by the one we owned, but not enough to buy the double-the-price new scoop), and ordered it, all within about 5 minutes. This arrived 2 days later and I can't BELIEVE the difference. This is the real deal: Heavy, hefty, with a sharp "blade" (so to speak). Easy to grab up hard ice cream and drop it from the scoop. So pleased about it we showed it off to visiting neighbors last night. Would make a great gift, too. And possibly a weapon. We're really pleased with this purchase.

It goes through the hardest ice cream. I make my own so its super hard & this scooper still scopes it. Highly recommend it.
