“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Oustanding freezer storage

I have been using this container to store my homemade pineapple sorbet in the freezer for the last eight weeks.
My sorbet still tastes brand new, and there is no freezer burn! This is a top quality container for ice cream and other frozen treats. Highly recommended. Thanks Sumo!

SUMO Jumbo Homemade Ice Cream Containers

I love to make homemade ice cream but hadn't been making it as much because of storage of it. Storing it in a regular container just didn't protect it and made it too icy. I was happy to get this SUMO container. It protects the ice cream from the elements of the freezer and it holds a good amount. Now that I live alone, when I make ice cream there's quite a bit of leftovers but this container works perfectly for me. It stores easily whether in use, or not. It's well made and so far durable. And, when I empty the ice cream out, it's easy to use.
