Keep in mind that many ice cream recipes make more than 1.5 quarts so one container may not be big enough to store an entire batch. While I knew this, I bought these anyways assuming that we'd probably eat some before storing the rest away. And, while a 2 quart (half gallon) size would probably have been better, I like that these aren't as big and they don't require as much space in the freezer. I feel the long and narrow shape also helps with storage over a boxier shape. The colors are great; don't need to label different flavors. And being able to just load them into the top rack in our dishwasher also helps greatly. Love these containers.

I now have three of these and they do a great job of storing about a quart and a half of ice cream very efficiently in terms of the space they take in the freezer. In addition to keeping the ice cream cold, they are easy to clean and come with a lifetime warranty. My son dropped one while it was full of ice cream, cracking the outer container. The company sent me two new ones, no questions asked! I couldn't be happier!

I got an ice cream maker this summer and was making 1 - 2 batches of ice cream each week. I needed an additional container and tried these. I love it because its perfect for scooping- seems to fit more as far as volume compared to my upright container and is easy to wash and clean. We eat our ice cream quickly but it seems to protect the product well and I haven't used parchment on top. Very pleased and would recommend to others who make their own ice cream. Also, great for stacking in the freezer. So glad I got the 2 pack.
