“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Great shape, keeps ice cream well, good for taking some to share.

Recently started making ice cream. Had been using random containers to keep them in but decided to use something a little better and tried these. So far, they work great. Insulated and seals well so it doesn't get all icey. However, none of my ice cream lasts very long so I'm not sure if it would develop ice on top like regular ice cream containers do if you leave in the freezer too long. Also found that if you freeze water in between the two pieces, it makes for taking some with you to friends or family incredibly easy and doesn't melt. No cooler of ice necessary. Also stacks well in the cabinet and is just the right shape for the freezer.

Not air tight Edit: Replaced

Edit: I emailed Sumo and they replaced the faulty item without question. I’m always happy to change a review when there’s wonderful customer service!

So far, not so good. The lid pops open and leaves my ice cream freezer burnt with ice crystals inside.
