Got this to store homemade ice cream in side by side refrigerator freezer.
Pros: fits nicely in freezer, is stackable, easy to wash, and keeps ice cream really cold!
The thing I didn’t realize that would annoy me: the lid is inset. This means the lid easily slips into the container tub, therefore into the ice cream, when removing or replacing. It also means that the rim, the edge on which the lid sits, is impossible to keep ice cream out of; whereas commercial ice cream containers have lids that fit over the top of the tub so slipping into the tub and keeping the outside of the container ice cream free isn’t an issue. Every time I open this container I end up having to wipe off the inside and outside of the lid and the edge of the tub. This annoys the heck out of me.

The shape of this ice cream container plus the slip resistant bottom make it great for scooping. The size of each container is also perfect for a single batch from our ice cream maker. They are a good length for the shelves in our freezer. All around great item!
