“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Not as great as I hoped

Got this to store homemade ice cream in side by side refrigerator freezer.

Pros: fits nicely in freezer, is stackable, easy to wash, and keeps ice cream really cold!

The thing I didn’t realize that would annoy me: the lid is inset. This means the lid easily slips into the container tub, therefore into the ice cream, when removing or replacing. It also means that the rim, the edge on which the lid sits, is impossible to keep ice cream out of; whereas commercial ice cream containers have lids that fit over the top of the tub so slipping into the tub and keeping the outside of the container ice cream free isn’t an issue. Every time I open this container I end up having to wipe off the inside and outside of the lid and the edge of the tub. This annoys the heck out of me.
