This is a very good ice cream scoop. I bought one for my granddaughter and one for myself. I am very impressed with the quality.

I was so looking forward to using this ice-cream scoop. For the price, I expected very high quality material. While it worked well as an ice-cream scoop the first time we used it, it became rusted at one edge just after one wash. I do not think that stainless steel should respond in this way. I have tons of one-dollar for a dozen spoons and forks that go through the dishwasher daily with no problems whatsoever. I am disappointed at the fact that I had paid so much money to get a rusted ice-cream scoop. If not for that occurrence, it would have been a pretty good scoop.
