This scoop is very well designed. It feels substantial in your hand and works really well, even on rock hard ice cream. I had an issue with the first scoop I received. Keith from SUMO responded right away and resolved it. This company stands behind their product and was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

This ice cream scoop is awesome! If you've ever tried to scoop coconut milk ice cream straight from the freezer you know it is nearly impossible to do with a regular kitchen spoon; it needs to sit for a few minutes before even trying to attempt it. In the past I have something resorted to using a fork to get it out of the container. I figured I would give this ice cream scoop a shot so I don't end up bending anymore spoons...
I put the SUMO ice cream scoop to the ultimate test: scooping coconut milk ice cream straight from the freezer (container was in the back and a solid rock). The result? Passed with flying colors! It glided through the ice cream so easily I almost couldn't believe it. A definite must have!

Great scooper and not sure if it is dishwasher safe but I put it in there and it is still in great condition!
