I was tired of the cheap and mostly ineffective, ice cream scoops that fill our drawers. So I go searching. I found the Sumo, was intrigued and ordered it. The scoop arrived a couple of days later in a beautiful little black box. BTW, a perfect presentation. I got it out, cleaned it and prepared to scoop some ice cream. The Sumo Scoop worked great. The edges were sharp and I was able to create a very nice ice cream ball for my cone. 5 stars, definitely. It is a good looking product. It is packaged well. And it works great. Thanks, Sumo!

Nice heavy duty construction. I've been looking for an ice cream scoop that can be put into the dishwasher without tarnishing. I'm also very happy the water can't enter the handle and leak out like my last scoop.

We love this scoop. I have weak wrists and was done with using a spoon to peel out shavings of ice cream, or microwaving a pint before being able to scoop it. As other reviewers have mentioned, the pointed tip is key to the low-effort effectiveness of the scoop--it cuts right through. The slightly squared sides are also ideal for scraping the side or bottom of the container. It feels heavy, sturdy and well made, and good in the hand. Plus, I like the blue handle.

I wanted a heavy, easy to clean ice cream scoop and that's exactly what I got. My product arrived on time and I couldn't wait to use it for my favorite ice cream. The scoop glided through my ice cream with ease. I would gladly recommend this product.
