Bought this to replace an ice cream scoop that broke right in half. Sturdy and good size scoop. It's heavy, but that's probably why it's so sturdy and hopefully won't break like our last scooper.

This scoop is the last one you will ever purchase. It should be the first one you should purchase if you are looking for one.
It has some good weight to it which is necessary to get into the ice cream and create a perfect scoop. The most essential feature is the slightly pointed edge which cuts into the ice cream instead of skimming the top. I've tried many a scoop but have no de-cluttered all of them in favour of this one. Suddenly scooping ice cream out is no longer a chore.
