Best ice-cream scoop I've ever purchased. I've replaced several Oxo scoops because they become pocked. This scoop is all stainless steel. Snazzy purple handle.

This scooper is excellent! Heavy and well made. Very durable and will 'not give' during scooping.
The metal piece and rubber handle are outstanding quality! I am very pleased with this product.

I always check reviews when I am purchasing new products and this ice cream scoop came highly rated. I was not disappointed. It is very durable nice looking. But most of all it really works well in ice cream. I hate putting my ice cream in the microwave to soften it. You don't have to do this if you are using the SUMO scoop.

After having a few other "metal" ice cream scoops snap off at the thin stem leading to the handle, it's great to finally find a scoop that is solid *thick* metal the entire length.
Better yet, the edge of the scoop is sharp enough that I don't have to press down and dig as hard as with previous scoops, making serving much easier.
Tip for easiest scooping: since this scoop has a lot of weight from the metal, either let to scoop sit in a cup of hot water or rinse it in hot water long enough for it to warm up. Just as good as "a hot knife though butter"!
