This is an excellent ice cream scoop. It's heavy and that non-slip handle is great. I ran it under hot water for 10 or 15 seconds and it really held the heat and slid through some very hard ice cream.

This is the best ice cream scoop ever! It's so easy to slide through even the toughest of ice cream. I believe it's the way it's weighted. It's a little on the heavy side (not dramatic weight lifting, but heavier than you would think a scoop would be).
It works wonderfully and if you scoop a lot of ice cream, as I do with two kids and big kid with a sweet tooth, you'll find it's a worth investment.

This is the second scoop we purchased front his company. My husband liked the first one so much that he wanted a second one for the camper. This is strong and works great.
