This is an excellent ice cream scoop. It's heavy and that non-slip handle is great. I ran it under hot water for 10 or 15 seconds and it really held the heat and slid through some very hard ice cream.

This is the best ice cream scoop ever! It's so easy to slide through even the toughest of ice cream. I believe it's the way it's weighted. It's a little on the heavy side (not dramatic weight lifting, but heavier than you would think a scoop would be).
It works wonderfully and if you scoop a lot of ice cream, as I do with two kids and big kid with a sweet tooth, you'll find it's a worth investment.

Fantastic ice cream scoop!
The slightly pointed front edge, is such a simple change to the classic round style - but boy does it make a difference
It also has a sharper edge, which allows easy ice cream scooping
Works even better if you sit it in a glass of warm water
