So far, this has been brilliant. It is very heavy and feels strong and solid. The handle is well designed and doesn't slip or dig into your hand. The slightly pointed end makes it easy to dig into very solid frozen ice cream. It can be washed in the dishwasher, but is easy to wash by hand. I hope this lasts longer than the last scoop I bought.

The Amazon reviews were right. This is a great ice cream scoop. My husband commented on how well it worked. It's now his favorite of the collection of 5-6 scoops sitting in our kitchen drawer.
I love the fact that it's dishwasher safe too.
