It doesn't cut through ice cream as smooth as it's advertised. It does a decent job as a ice cream scoop but it's not the best thing I've used

Was debating between the Sumo and Oxo ice cream scoop. We make our ice cream and some recipes freeze solid, like a brick! I previously bought the Sumo insulated ice cream container and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Husband is the designated ice cream scooper and he can't believe how easy it is to scoop ice cream. It is hefty in weight and the handle is wonderful
