This icecream scooper appears sturdy and well made. However it doesn't work very well. In fact a plain old soup spoon does a better job and is easier to hold. This spoon on this one is very heavy and the handle isn't so it is unbalanced and hard to hold. Uncomfortable to use too. You'd better let your icecream soften up a bit first as it does not glide through hard icecream at all. I wouldn't buy it again nor do I recommend.

Needed a new ice cream shovel. Easy to hold and will not bend with hard ice cream.
