“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Excellent ice cream tub!

I make a lot of low carb ice cream so I need good ice cream containers to help keep my ice cream from getting hard and frosty. This one is my favorite. The 1 quart sumo containers are a close second. But the curved bottom on this container makes this one the best. You don't ever have to spend time trying to get all the ice cream out of the edges because the bottom is rounded. Best idea ever! As long as you get the lid on right it keeps your ice cream creamy. The long shape of this container makes getting perfect scoops a breeze. If you've got a 1 1/2 quart ice cream maker then this container is perfect. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Good ice cream container

I make ice cream often and this container is the perfect size for the amount of ice cream my tabletop ice cream maker makes. I like the compact size of this ice cream container, it’s sturdy and stackable. The only thing I would change is the lid, it doesn’t clamp tightly onto the container so it’s easy to come off.

Incredible Customer Service

* I am updating my original review. After leaving an initial review that the lids did not fit tightly, customer service immediately contacted me. They promptly shipped replacement containers and continued to follow up to make sure I received them and the new containers met my satisfaction. The lids fit much better on the second shipment and I am very pleased with my order and especially this company!

So Much More Sensible than Round Containers!

Why has no one thought of this before? They fit better in the freezer, stop freezer burn, and make it easy to see which ice cream is which. I will be buying more sets, the whole family loves homemade ice cream, and you can even transfer the store-bought ice cream to these containers.
