Been making ice cream and storing in various containers. I have been looking for a better storage solution.
The SUMO container works perfectly. Holds approx 1.5 qts of product, freezes well and is easy to scoop with its' shape.

I know there are reviews on here on how well it seals and works with ice cream, but that was most definitely no the case with what we received, and I can't see how it could really work for anyone. When you put the top on when its not frozen, it does lock on pretty well, but when its frozen it becomes totally inflexible and does not lock in at all. Completely leaves the ice cream open to the air, which is not what you want at all.

The container works well for homemade ice cream. Love the color of it also! It freezes very well. Maybe too well. It does make the ice cream hard but it does work and to be honest this is the first container I bought for homemade ice cream so that be how they are.

We've only used it for 3 batches of ice cream but I haven't experienced any of the lid issues some reviewers mention. The lid clicks nicely into place and protects the ice cream from any sort of freezer burn.
