I put in 2 pints but it looks like a little more would fit into a single container, especially if compacting. The ice cream was a bit melted when they containers arrived home but there were ice crystals or freezer burn the next day after transplanting them to the SUMO container! I also really like the shape and length for easy scooping. I have their other container as well, which is also great for storage, but prefer this one for the scooping length. You can also label and easily wash off what you write which would be useful for tracking flavors and dates. I didn’t do that because this is pretty much going to get finished over the next couple of days lol.

I used a regular freezer-suitable container and my ice cream turned into a solid block of Ice... when I did the same recipe, this container maintained solid, but still smooth to be scooped just like regular store-bough ice cream. definitely buying more.

I recently bought a homemade ice cream machine that makes 2 quarts ice cream at a time. These store it great in the freezer. They stack to save room and the shape allows for easy scooping. They hold the 2 quarts easily with easy closing. Would definitely recommend.
