The container is double insulated and prevents the icecream from getting icy. It is reasonably priced, pretty and easy to clean.

Update: the company reached out to me and sent me new containers - the lids fit much better! I may have had a one off issue with my first order. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these now, and customer service was incredible!
I like the size and the idea of these for homemade ice cream, but one of the lids is curved and won't fit securely, resulting in freezer burned ice cream if you don't cover it with something else. So I basically spent the $$ on just one usable container.

UODATE: April 9, 2022: After I returned these containers, I was contacted by the seller, who expressed regret that I had not been totally happy with them. Even though I’d returned them and received a refund from Amazon, the sellers sent me a new set of the long containers PLUS a set of their round containers, all free of charge. This exceptional service completely astounded me, and I’m updating this review because of it.
In addition, the Sumo “tub” type containers are quite superior to the other brand I purchased. The Sumo containers have a nonslip ring at the bottom so they stay put on the counter, and the lids seem to fit better than the Balci containers — and they don’t smell funny.
Thank you again to the great customer service team at Sumo. To anyone considering a purchase, don’t hesitate—this is a great company that will make sure you’re happy.

I was really excited to use these with my new ice cream maker, but they fell far short of expectations. The lid on one container does not snap shut but lies on top, nowhere near airtight.
The containers do NOT fit on my refrigerator door, nor can I stack them (I have an older model side by side with a narrow freezer section), so they are awkward to fit in freezer.
If the ice cream is not completely covered with plastic wrap, freezer burn will occur.
I will be returning these and have purchased a conventional “tub” set of containers with silicone lids. Much better.
