SUMO's Ice Cream Container consists of three parts. There are the white lid, purple inner tub, and clear outer tub. All of the parts of well made and nicely finished using thick plastic. The pieces fit together snuggly.
I make homemade ice cream every month or so and was struggling to get the ice cream out of my previous container that was tall and round. I had to stab at the ice cream to get out little chunks. This SUMO makes scooping the ice cream out so much easier. I can simply drag my ice cream scoop from one side to the other and get perfect rolled balls of ice cream. Additionally since the SUMO is insulated, it does not sweat if I leave it out a bit to soften the ice cream.
The SUMO is large and oval, and the batch of ice cream I make barely fills it up halfway. No worries, as it works just fine even when not full. It fits into my bottom freezer refrigerator without issue. I washed all of the parts in my dishwasher and they came out perfectly.
All in all... the ideal ice cream container.

I like this ice cream storage container very much. The writing/label option on the lid is great for different flavors and date. I currently have four in use! An ice cream scoop fits perfectly in the channel shape of the box.
Easy to clean, dishwasher safe but recommend separating the parts as water gets in-between the insulation and the container so I have to separate to dry it out anyway.
I ordered more so that we can have a choice of flavors in the freezer.

I love it but it was my mistake to buy the 1.5 quart but I bought the jumbo one 2.5 quart it was great but am using also the 1.5 and I love it too
