I replaced an old scoop whose handle broke. This scoop has a thinner edge which bites into the ice cream easily. Although heavyweight it is is easy to use. I always hand clean immediately after use so cannot comment on dishwasher cleaning but it washes easily. Really happy with purchase!

I wasn’t sure if this would be different than the other scoops I’ve had in the past, but the “digging” end of this thing is awesome! It’s got more of a defined edge so it gets into the ice cream easily and then does well at rolling it into a nice shape too (not a deal-breaker about the shaping, but nice when you’re serving someone and it looks nice in the bowl). This scooper is also way heavier than I was expecting; it’s got a really nice feel and balance when using it. **(I was given this item as a promotion but I wholeheartedly love it and this is truly my own review!)**

We love this scoop! Unlike lots of other scoops we've tried that are too large for filling an ice cream cone, this scoop is slightly pointed at the end, allowing it to push the ice cream to the bottom of the cone without breaking it! The point also helps dig into the ice cream so you don't have to use quite so much muscle to scoop.
In addition to the great shape, it also has solid construction and is very easy to clean. It has a nice weight to it as well. We are very pleased with it!
