Make sure to point the metal part down when you put it in the dishwasher otherwise water gets in the handle and drips into your ice cream when you use it.

I own a coffee and ice cream shop and I purchased these scoops for a mobile event. I was very please with the construction, qualify and size. There are no gimmicks to this scoop, just great design and quality. The sharp edge of the scoop cuts through the hardest ice cream. I'll definitely be ordering more!
