My el cheapo grocery store ice cream scoop broke recently and you don't realize how important one is until you try to scoop hard ice cream with a normal spoon. This set me in search of a really good new scoop and based off of the reviews I ordered the SUMO. It is everything the reviews said it was!!! Comes in a very nice box and the fit and construction are awesome. Fits very comfortable in your hand and is very solid. Tried it for the first time last night and it cut through the ice cream with no effort. This is a must have for any ice cream lover!!!!

If you one of the Cutco warriors back in the day (or now) selling Cutco products you know that they make good stuff, but it's REALLY expensive. One of their best products (at the time) was their ice cream scoop that sold for an outrageous price for about $60+ back in 2004. This ice cream scoop works better (because of pointed tip) and only costs about $14.
A superior product at a great price. The company also sent me many follow up emails when I purchased this product.
Like everyone's said this is an amazing ice cream scoop and this is a MUST HAVE in the kitchen drawer.
