This thing is Solid!!! We aren't great on waiting for ice cream to soften lol we have killed a few large spoons and scoops over the years. This thing is awesome. I highly recommend it.

I have been using a good ice cream scoop I won in a work contest in 1998 and somehow it went missing from my house I went through three cheap ice cream scoops before I read reviews and bought this one definitely easy to scoop easy to hold because of previous reviews I’m hand washing it which is the only thing that sucks but it works well it’s good ice cream it cleans easy no more bent spoons from my kids grabbing them instead of Chief ice cream maker scoopers
